TREATING YOUR WEDDING GUESTS THE SHABBY CHIC WAY
They've attended the ceremony and enjoyed the cocktail hour. The bar has been set high for a great wedding reception. Start things off on the right note with a yummy treat, ready and waiting for your guests as they take their seats. Sure beats the traditional bread basket! Here's the how to on pulling this shabby chic themed treat together.
THE SUPPLIES
- kraft paper bag
- two types of fabric ribbon, one wider than the other
- mini button
- personalized stamp and ink pad
- hot glue gun
- scissors
- a yummy baguette!
THE STEP BY STEP
- using the bag as your guide, measure out and cut your ribbon lengths, just so they slightly overlap in the back of your bag
- on the back side of the bag, glue the wider ribbon first
- glue the other ribbon on top of the first, for a layered effect
- glue on your button. Tip: off center button location works best
- add your stamp
And that's it! It's that easy! And personalizing the look is just as simple. Consider changing the type and colour of the ribbon, use a different bag or play around with your stamp options. Any of these simple adjustments will change up the look to suit your wedding style and theme to perfection.
